| Hello all,
I am very new and i wanted to ask a few questions about switzerland and the people. I am from Dublin in Ireland. I was wondering what you felt the differance between the French, German and Italian Swiss was or if there was any?
One thing i found very different from Ireland is that social activities seem to be very organised and not really spontaneous. Is it just the people i have met or is this a general rule?
Plus i have been erm... becoming friendly with a French Swiss guy he is lovely but very different from Irish or English guys i was wondering what the girls thought and how Swiss guys are different?

Be aware that French Swiss are culturally and linguistically very French and so exceedingly disorganized and fairly spontaneous, that German Swiss are culturally very German and so exceedingly organized and disciplined and love to have structures with meetings and know about them 3 weeks in advance, while the Italian Swiss are very Italian, and so carefully chaotic and quite determined not to be determined
