Another suggestion:
- Have your doctor write a medical certificate stating your meds and family of medication (if your meds are bought abroad) that you usually take as well as the meds to which you are allergic.
- Keep a copy on you at all time, it adds weight and legitimacy when you're dealing with doctors who need to help you but who don't know you.
- If you are used to going to one specific ER or clinique when you when need immediate help, have them scan a copy of the medical certificate so that when they pull up your name they have what they need to know.
