I looked at flying into Geneva from London City with Swiss for my trip in April and had the same issue. I settled on Zurich as it is much cheaper. Having a Swiss pass and plenty of time to spare, the rail journey isn't a problem. My return flight with Swiss is £127 (About CHF190). I could have got a cheaper deal with Easyjet but have lost faith in them after so many delayed flights.
