Ultimately the foreigner loses his/her right to stay and loses the money (and as in the case jrspet mentioned seems he loses his pride too). The Swiss person faces criminal charges. However in the jury of public opinion we foreigners get the blame and more SVP rah rah. | |

well you can't just say the only culprit is the one who accepted the money and not the one who offered it - this is like saying (a little extreme, I know) a raped girl is the criminal and should be punished cause without her having been around (and maybe having worn a mini skirt, typical excuse those guys use.. "she wanted it") the rapist wouldn't have had the chance of raping someone...
And I do not think Swiss are so stupid to blame ALL foreigners just because of a few idiots, if you really think that you might be living in the wrong country
btw a lot of SVP politicians are married to Eastern European women.. not too sure all of those marriages are based on love..
