| I am new to the forum having found your info on Google. I have recently bought a small laser type sailing boat for my kids. I bought it in France on ebay and the authorities are telling me I cannot register it in CH unless it has previously been registered in France or I have a eec conformity certificate no 9425. They were a bit short with me on the phone and I didn't get to ask what is the minimum size for registration. It is only 4.1m in length.
Any ideas at what length registration is compulsory or any ideas how I can solve my problem?

You can register sailboat under the US flag. In that case you don't need EEC certificate. You can read all about on this address:
