BUT, NO you can not avoid winter tires even with AWD. You must change them back and forth this can not be avoided. They usually come with the car if you buy used.
Sorry I meant FWD So if it does not make a huge change (other than snow conditions), I guess 2WD would be a wiser choice, as I live in the plain, right? Does the AWD help much in rain conditions as well? It rains a lot here you know!
