get connected to some head hunting companies and opt for 'Contract' only jobs. many exists.

Advantages -
don't have to Slog for the whole year.
can work whenever it's convenient
1 mt - 3 mt is good option.
Can enjoy when kids have school holidays etc...
Salary will be much higher compared to full time job.
CV looks good

Disadvantage

can we laid off by just 1 day or 1 week notice
Loss of benifits(not sure about the extent)
