| Bah! Fake trees. My mother (who lives in Oregon, land of the Douglas Fir, an ideal Christmas tree that people spend hundreds of dollars on to get shipped across the country) decided she didn't like the hastle of a real tree. It violates every part of my Christmas sensibilities. I've started teasing her that the reason I didn't come home for Christmas last year and am not this year is because of the fake tree. (although it really has nothing to do with it)
