I would say the list is fundamentally wrong, at least in concept: If Amsterdam goes first, then second should be Rotterdam, third The Hague, fourth Utrecht, so on and so forth until you finish the list with all Dutch cities. Or the article should exclude all Dutch cities (and towns), instead of Amsterdam only .
Having said that, I'll look forward to do some biking in Basel!
