I wouldn't call 'agents' in Europe pirates - the subscriptions are being paid for.
I also seriously doubt that Sky are setting about stopping European viewers. Estimates put their 'outside of UK' viewership at a very high level. Certainly enough to cause a substantial dent in their profits if they were all cut off.
As always though, if you want Sky then do it through a UK relative/friend. It's a much better way to go about it.
Let's face it, they are extremely poor VFM unless of course you are an expat with a lot of spare cash rattling around, in which case they are invaluable
