every so often i get asked by swiss people "oh, do you like switzerland".. my answer is always "well, i'm still here.." most of us literate english speakers have a choice about which country we live in, and, when push comes to shove, do actually like it here - be it because of the gorgious babe that used to sit accross from us, but is now the next swiss supermodel (see thread) or the sunday shopping ban (keeps you away from the shop, and doing something interesting/productive with your life).
Things i like are that i am not dependant on a car; i can walk to the shops, movies, pool, gym, or take a bus or bike: (cant do that in wellington). i also like that my health insurance pays for MY health: in nz you pay *tax* which goes into the big tax bucket for all and funds the "public health system"...
