Hi all,

I've found one thread on here discussing this issue, but I'm hoping that I can find someone who can give really detailed help, as I'm not very good with electronics.

I have a Samsung Flat Panel TV that is 110 A/C and 200 Watts (don't know if that makes sense, got that info from my husband). It is large - 48". It's a TV from the U.S., and we want to hook it up here. We don't need to get cable onto it, we just want it to be able to power on. Can you tell me exactly what I need/where to get it? I've read about Transformers, Step up/down converters, this, that and the other thing. I'd prefer not to have to buy a new TV, as we're only here for 2 more years.
