| I have a year 2000 EU car that has had Zurich Z-plates on it 2003-2004. This year I moved to Zurich permanently and imported that car with other household goods. Now I wanted to get it registered here and was told that I need a CoC for a car that has already been registered here in Zurich. I still have the old plates and the green registration/insurance paper as proof.
As an added bonus the garage that is doing maintenance service (and registration) on the car, said they can get the CoC but it will cost a flat 2000e.
Do I have any other options than pay the 2000e or is just fiction that you need CoC for a car that has already passed the inspection and has been previously registered here in Zurich? | |

Google euro coc, you should be able to get one for a couple of hundred euro.
