Like most things here, things can be totally different not only from Canton to Canton, but Commune to Commune. So there is not Romandie answer- it will depend on your commune. Depending on where you are, the compost would be most welcome as a mixer in one of my compost bins. Most communes, if they do not have a regular pick up of green refuse, will have a large skip somewhere to put such waste.
