Need help pricing product wholesale to retailer
Long story short ...
I'm starting a business importing and distributing sports equipment.
Several suppliers signed. Product samples and a small inventory acquired.
Retail prices for this product category range from 2x to 4x my full costs.
What kind of gross margin is typical for a retail sports shop?
I've searched the forum a bit, but having a tough time calibrating my USA experience with the way business is done here.
Any steer or pointers welcome
