Thanks for this. I'll look Murren up but Gstaad, I've been told, is a real show off place, and coming from Geneva, we'd like precisely the opposite.

| I would second HolllidayG in saying that Murren is a great place. YOu have to use the cable car to get there and it's quiet and charming. Try looking on TripAdvisor and put Murren in. That should give you some ideas about accommodation. You could also check the Gstaad area which has a lot to offer. I would also suggest using boat transportation across Lake Thun and Lake Brienze. It's a great way to enjoy the views while traveling at the same time. | |
