Yes- however if you live in a country with large plains with Route 66 type roads, it does make more sense. Biofuels take huge amounts of land, fertilisers, water, etc, and are not that bio at all.

You'll find, I'm sure, that the average Swiss car uses AN AWFUL LOT LESS fuel than US ones though.
