Are Swiss watches in Switzerland expensive?

Hey guys,
This is an eccentric question in the regard that it almost goes against natural logic.

Swiss watches are expensive all around the world since they are deemed the best kind of watches out there. If I bought a watch in Switzerland, would it be cheaper versus if I bought the same watch in Canada?

I'm interested in buying a Swiss watch to commemorate my transition to Switzerland for the next 2 years.

I saw a Movado watch on sale on a Online Classified Ad. It was this one specifically: http://www.movado.com/movado-collect...m-0606502.html

Brand new: $500
Used: $150 (in excellent shape! pretty much brand new from what I saw in the pictures)

I'm thinking about buying it. What do you, the Swiss, think?

What I want to know:
1. this watch and it's brand. Are they any good? Would the Swiss scoff at this watch or admire it?
2. are the world-famous Swiss watches cheaper in Switzerland? Or are they very expensive, like everything else in Switzerland (except for oil)? Essentially, would you recommend that I wait until I get to Switzerland to buy a brand new watch?
3. is $150 too much for a used Movado watch? Or is this a great deal?
