Good day to you all and Happy Easter!
I have heard lots of stories about noise restrictions, especially on a Sunday, I even heard one story that said if you live above the ground floor you must pee sitting down so as not to make a noise, am sure someone was taking the pee.
Anyway, having been here a few months, nothing would actually suprise me anymore.
But, how true is it all, what i want to know is this:

Can I use my vacuum cleaner (Hoover for us Brits) on a Sunday, or am I likely to be hung drawn and quartered?

Anyone enlighten me?
Hi Chappers,

Not only are you likely to be hung, drawn and quartered for vacuuming on a sunday morning, they will also pee (sitting if a Sunday) on your unmarked grave afterwards!!!

It really depends where you live and what kind of neighbours you have. In my mother's village in Nuglar SO, they are really oldfashioned and backwards and will actually call the police if you hang out washing in your own garden on a sunday or even just wash the car. In Biberist where I lived before (just got back from about a year of travel), nearly anything goes, except I used to have a professor as neighbour in my block of flats and he would call the caretaker if I even just opened my mouth for a minute (singing, recording) and we're talking weekdays, normal hours....

It seems to be pot luck.... and the best thing is either rent a house in the woods or find a well built block of flats where you can't hear the refreshing tinkle of urine
