Superlative scenery, fascinating experiences plus wonderful accommodation and cuisine all lay in store for the riders on this four-day quest across Switzerland and into France.

St. Moritz has twice played host to the Winter Olympics, and thrice to the Alpine Skiing World Championships. From here the riders strike out for the ascent and push across the spectacular Swiss Alps. Eventually the hard work and panoramic splendour are transformed into relatively, less demanding conditions as the route passes along the southern shores of Lakes Walensee and Zurich.

With the route passing to the north of Basel, the riders will cross the Rhine into Germany as a brief prelude to their arrival in France.
