Does anyone know the region around Fieschalp (and Bettmeralp). We will go skiiing for the first time ever, so will take lessons for beginners.

Niki said it is often no use getting a skipass when just learning, so is this the case too around Fiesch/Bettmeralp? It would make >200 CHF difference for us, so I am keen to find out.
