Thanks IQ - you're right that the dog will need the passport for the UK (as I put in my original reply), but as NZ is considered a 'third country' the passport is not required to get into switzerland. Looks like the OP has got all the right links for the FVO, so should have all the latest info if the move goes ahead. cheers
