Have to agree with the OP that i also really miss my soft sliced white/brown bread to make sandwiches with.

Sure the Swiss Bakery bread is absolutely delicious but its completely uneconomical if you are a single person living on your own. Buy it one day.....stale the next.

I've found two good sources of sandwich bread though...
The first is Globus (at the bakery not on the store shelves) and this white sandwich bread is very good and fresh.

Recently i've also discovered the sandwich bread in Aldi and its not too bad.
