Within the Quellensteuer calculation CHF 400 is deducted and all of any amount above this will be deducted if the application is accepted. Or alternatively they can accept the course but not the accommodation costs etc. So there is no guarantee of a 100% deduction unless it is course and material costs only. | |

FYI - yes you can get tax back for german class - In 2006 I took intensive german lessons for 4 months at Migro and I filled out the form, stapled my receipts and got the refund about 3 months later...It was 500-800Fr from what I can remember since it reduced my pity salary by about 4k!
