Well, it depends what your goals are upon relocation to Switzerland - which are different for everyone else.
My goals and the reason why I moved here in the first place were the two abovementioned: professional network, and easy access to my family. At the time, I had no other particular reason to come to CH.
2.5 years later, I am glad I came, and I am glad I stayed - not only I fulfilled the above goals, but I got to know a naturally beautiful country, and most of all I met great friends who, I hope, will remain friends for life.
And now I am also glad to move on...
