You get an extra child benefit per month of a smaller amount (less than 200CHf off the top of my head) but you definitely get a lump sum one-off payment of 1500CHf. I have checked it with other mums here in Lausanne and they also got it. The payment was due to go into my husband's salary this month so I will check whether it has been paid. You should talk to your husband's employer about it (assuming you are not working yourself). | |

it's actual my 'first baby' but i'm certain that my husband hasn't got that 1500 one-off payment. (and I'm not working at all). Do you know if it's basing on the salary level or type of company the father is working? if it's an 'universal offering', which government office should he contact pls?
