Since you say your an almost absolute beginner, the Deutsch Anfänger/innen (beginner course) would be perfect for you. I was an almost absolute beginner myself until I did this course.

This course just reinforces what you think you know. But what it also does is, it gives you a very clear theoretical picture of genders, spellings, articles and such. Prior to the course I knew most of the stuff verbally, but now I know spellings, genders and articles too.

I would suggest start from scratch and work your way up
