In answer to your question you need to have it paid out. I can only assume that you transfered this money to a bank or insurance company in a private account. You then need to close the account by showing the documents that prove that you have left Switzerland. In the German part of Switzerland this is called the abmeldeschein stamped by the exiting authority ie airport! If you do not have one then you should contact the bank or insurance company where your money is held and ask how you can release this.
