speaking of which (bit offtopic) does anyone know if/when orange plan to support edge over here? iphone unusable without wifi, phone dog slow on gprs..... groan. they seem to support it on their business roaming office type deal so they have the technology. | |

EDGE is a GPRS upgrade 2G - 2.5G, purely software, but has to be deployed across all transmission nodes. Will ask someone at Orange & see if I get a response, but is tied to your SIM & account, I would expect.
