Orange Switzerland doesn't offer EDGE. They're still convinced that going UMTS-only is the right thing to do. It probably would be but unfortunately, their UMTS coverage is WAY behind that of Swisscom. At work I have 3G coverage but at home I only get GPRS (despite the fact that their coverage map says I should be getting HSDPA).

Also, many very popular devices such as the iPhone and close to all Blackberry handsets only support EDGE. So here I am, crawling along on GPRS with my BB 8820 AND their 3G (theoretically...) USB modem. I really hope they'll still add EDGE capability, their data network sucks big time without it.
