Hello Everyone,

I'm thinking of taking up a 6 month contract in Zurich next month and was wondering what its like to live in, being from Cork my standards aren't exactly high but i do like my social life. is there much fun to be had.

Thanks
Zurich is about the same size as the Peoples Republic of Cork but the differences end there. All the clocks in Zurich read the same time unlike Cork where we have the four faced liar! . There are a few langers over here but we are few and far between. In general the place is pretty cool but the level of bureaucracy and reliance on rules really does throw you off and get on your nerves a bit at first. You slowly start to accept it, but certain things will annoy you for a while.

The city is really clean, but does not have the same atmosphere in the evenings as you would get walking down Pana or Washinton St. in Cork.

If you are into the great outdoors, then Switzerland is a great country and there is almost nothing you can't do here. (The surfing sucks!).

Catch ya later fien!
