Air Berlin have been flying to/from Zurich for some years now.... But I guess it depends where you are flying to.

Also, in Europe, taking a larger dog by air is expensive. You might be better off driving..... or giving your dog a break too and either getting a dog-sitter or finding a good kennel in your area. Travelling by air is stressful for animals that end up in the cargo hold and I would avoid making a habit of it. Just my 2c (as a dog owner).
