Well when I said DJ I didn't mean like with turntables and stuff, just someone with a laptop and some decent speakers. I actually did this a few years back, but since there was a diverse crowd and an area for dancing there were a lot of requests from people and we often had to change the playlists to suit the mood of the crowd throughout the whole evening. After all - if nobody is dancing then the wrong song is playing
The static playlist idea is nice - but I think we could do better, especially with someone who knows their music and has a large collection?
