Re: Mourning the loss of a friend, a leader, an innovator, a genuinely nice guy

Mark
You really have touched everyone around you in a special way - and in such a short life.

I only have good memories of the times we've spent online, the time we've spent on Skype whilst you were installing your satellite system, the times you've turned up with Lily (the dog you were so resistant to getting but so in love with from day one!! ) for TGIF and other events. All good, mate, all good.

Your efforts for those finding living here in this wonderful country are far-reaching. You are to blame for many new friendships, for many people having a much easier time moving here than many of us ever did. And I'm barely touching the tip of the iceberg here......

I think back to a conversation we had about diving where you stated that, from now onwards, you were only going to do the dives that really interested you and you really enjoyed - and that specifically was cave diving. So, in some kind of way, I am happy for you that your final moments were spent doing what you most enjoyed.

This forum now represents a celebration of your life. You were (and in my mind still are) a great, wonderful person.

Mark, Rest in Peace mate.
