OK, an unmoderated email list often full of ADVERTS but the occasional spicey thing like discussing the Danish cartoons or *SHOCK HORROR* having an over-30s singles event is pushed from the emailing list.
Absolutely chronic. The folks are becoming Swiss

- I can find no other excuse.
Perhaps because I read the messages on the Yahoo website rather than have my inbox saturated with emails (as if it isn't already), I skim these messages without reading them - because I ain't single
But why-oh-why drive it off the list - just delete the f--king emails
It actually takes more effort to reply either on- or off-list and complain
Rant over

| Dear all
Thanks for the many positive (and also the negative) replies I have
received to my posting that I would no longer post Single-over-30
events on the list. I think the decision was right, as this seems to
be a sensitive issue for some non-singles-or-not-over-30's (I have
received quite a number of off-line responses to that effect).
However, given that some of you have also explicitly asked me to
continue offering events, I will now just put them in the calendar.
So, whoever is interested can either join my mailing list or invest
the extra 10 seconds every now and then to check the Expats calendar,
and all others are not bothered.
And as you may have seen, I am also offering events open to everyone,
which I will continue to post to the list.
I hope this serves everyone's interest.
