Hey Ali, I just recently joined the Swiss Alpine Club, and it sounds like I am in the same boat as you (new to Switzerland, living in the Zurich area, without much german
(yet!)).
I haven't been to any meetings yet but hope to soon. I have a Swiss friend who is a member so I'm hoping to go with her sometime... If you're planning on going let me know and maybe we can all meet up.
