Paniermehl can be widely found at any supermarket. Though, I find the texture too fine and lacks flavour. A better (and cheaper) option is to whizz some stale bread in a food processor and voilà!
Speaking of breadcrumbs, the Korean and Japanese often use Panko crumbs in their cooking.

This is actually a small restaurant close to Zurich Hauptbahnhof (just off Bahnhofstrasse), and the grocery section is located at the back.
