Anyhow, a couple places I know but not sure if they have been mentioned here already:

Indian style shop at Manesse Platz: Just check the sell by data as some products were already past the dates.

In Alstetten there are a couple of places, a Thai Shop one street down from Badener Strasse (would have to look up the address) and a place along the road from 'Office World'.

In Oerlikon there are (were maybe) 2 Thai place out behind the station. One you can see from the platform one around the corner.

btw, anyone know where you can get Bombay Mix in ZH? I miss the products I used to get from Brick Lane maybe the man with a van travelling to London a few times a year can bring back a few kilos

I have a good recipe to make Bombay mix so maybe I'll have to resort to this but may have to substitute a few ingredients.
