Stops you switching the format, (say from iplayer to your ipod etc) self deletes iplayer content from your hard disk after 30 days etc etc. Anti-Copy protection garbage.

Basically code that makes itself a annoyance. Another M$ favourite (DRM), Vista is riddled with it.

Edit I should add a disclaimer here it's CPU hungry and Microsoft were pressured into it by the film/music industry

It's the first thing I break, If I own a legit DVD/CD I want to be able to do what i want with it. After all I've paid for it
