Re: How do speeding fines work in Switzerland?

In my niavety at Swiss driving conditions I got myself caught doing something like 105-110 in 80 zone on the A13 somewhere between Bellinzona and where it starts getting steep and twisty on the way to San Bernardino.

Now it is possible after discounts this speed will be seen as <= 100kph. If so according to http://www.linker.ch/eigenlink/verkehrsbussen.htm the file is fixed if it the route is seen "rural".

The road seemed pretty rural to me, but I'm from London. Does anyone know if that road is likely to count as rural? If not, I guess the fine to be faced is rather large :-(.
