Not because it specifically relevant to us, but because I was asked by a friend today and I genuinely didn't know the answer.
Would a child born in Switzerland to parents living there with a B permit (?) be given Swiss nationality or would they revert to the nationality of one of the parents? Also if the child did have Swiss nationality, how would their rights differ to that of their parents (generally)

If either parents are not Swiss , the child will have the nationality and permit of the parents ( father to be exact ) .... Our son was born 5 years or so ago and we had to obtain a passport for him from our embassy .
