Your profile sounds very professional. Might be you could go through other channels like this forum....
by the way, where're you in Switzerland? I would love to get your help if you're around my canton. | |

Definitely not too old to take care of children. However, in regards to getting an Au Pair visa there is an age limit. I don't recall now, or don't know if it has changed, but I think it was 35. ( I wanted one of my aunts to come help me with my kids and I wanted to get her an au pair visa (she has a U.S. passport) but couldn't because of her age.
I know that rules have recently changed (before you did all the paper work yourself and now you need to go through a government agency to get approval and now you have more choice of countries to get a girl from) BUT, honestly, I doubt the age requirement has changed much. They see it as an educational exchange rather than a job exchange. It is really a pity because I much rather have someone older for my 3 spirited kids!
Do ask the agencies about the age limit for an Au Pair/Nanny visa. They SHOULD know.
Best wishes!
