Welcome to the forum and Zug. There are a few places to buy furniture around Zug. Try Zugerland - either MiCasa (Migros) or Coop's Bau & Hobby. They have similar to Ikea furniture but better quality but expect to wait for delivery as you have to order. If you have transport then the Emmen Centre is supposed to be a good place to look around. I bought most of my furniture from the Brokenhaus and by looking at the adverts in the Migros and Coop shops! I haven't tried them but there are a couple of Scandinavian furniture shops on Baarerstrasse/Zugerstrasse on the main road towards Baar and there is an expensive furniture shop in Baar on Dorfstrasse.
