Has anyone seen the silver VW estate car with what looks like a home made speed camera. It is manned by what looks like a civilian - certainly no uniform and no sign of any cop presence even though all and sundry were getting flashed but only from the front I think. He was between Monchlatorf and Uster on the straight bit.

Then I saw him again as you leave the highway at Rapperswil and confirmed that his camera only faces forward.

Third sighting between Uster and Greifensee.

What do you think? Experimental camera? Civilian doing work for the police? Nutter with his home made speed trap?
