Its not so much the elevation that I have a problem with but more the pace on the climbs. I managed to tackle Sattelegg from Uster on Sunday, so I will make the climbs no problem, I just might be a little off the pace.
That reminds me, have you had issues with Motorbikes on Sattelegg before? I nearly got run off the road 3 times. Once a biker overtook a VW Van on a blind corner, in an effort not to hit the biker the van missed my handlebars by about 2 inches. | |

Actually i was about to post a ride description of Sattelegg (later today). Yeah, motorcycle traffic is a problem on weekends on most passes. Cars are okay but I hate the motorcyclists as they seem to think they can throw caution to the wind and that they can get around anything.
That is one nice advantage of moutain biking.
Pace won't be a problem, I don't go fast, I just try to survive.
This is one reason I was hesitant to lead a ride, not sure how effectively I can lead from behind. But for any speed demons the route is rather simple, just need to have meeting milestones.
