| Had a look through other threads but don't see anything quite relevant; does anyone know about this strange Swiss law where, if you are on holiday leave and are sick, you can "convert" the holiday day to a sick day as long as you have a doctor's note?
If I recall, in the UK, if you are sick on your hols it's tough luck - or maybe I always had heartless employers  .
Tried to Google.ch but obviously wasn't using the correct combo of German words and phrases, also a couple of the links on earlier threads are no longer working.

I know that in my work, you can convert holiday day where you were sick to a sick day upon presentation of the necessary documentation. Didn't know it was law, just something I read in our staff handbook.
