Even with an SBB Half Tax card it's still 61 chufs per person by train from Zürich to Estavayer-le-Lac.

Pfullendorf might be better if your as much as a novice as me. I'll investigate whether it makes sense to rent a car unless there are others on the forum who would like to go too.

It cost me 28 euros for 2 hours when I went to Pfullendorf, so this is def the best option if we can arrange some wheels.
