Well if you know you will never go to the doctor in CH, then get the cheapest, nasties one you can find on Comparis, company doesn't matter, only premium does in that case. Normally you would have to pay from the start of your non-coverage (so from Jan in your case).

| Yellow everyone!
Here's my story... I came to Switzerland for my postgraduate studies, so during my first year here I wasnt obliged to get a health insurance, for the EU one I have was accepted.
After that I worked for 6 months, but from Januarz I have been jobless.
About that time I received a letter from the city of Zurich, concerning my health insurance. As always I sent them my EU card, requesting for it to be accepted.
Just 20 days ago I received a letter, informing me that my request hadn't been accepted and that I should get a swiss health insurance.
My question is, (1) should and can I make this insurance count for the 5 months I had been waiting and was jobless?
(2) I also saw the comparis site, do I want an insurance with low premium? I mean, I do only go to the doctor when I am in Greece and I still have my EU insurance card.
(3) How about Assura? I saw them here.
Thanx!!!! | |
