Fire regulations do vary from Canton to Canton but I'm sure this one applies to all.
You will find it is tolerated until the period inspection occurs (usually) and then you get the letter to clear up. | |

I assure you the compact shoe cabinet is in no one's way and makes no noise. You can run up and down the stairs blindfolded and you won't run into it. Maybe the building owners figured the well-paid cleaner will have less floor space to clean?
My neighbours' decorative stuff takes up a lot more space, come to think of it.
We'll hafta comply if we receive another letter, I guess.
