| I took my CELTA course at International House in London. It was a four-week course that included accommodation. It is indeed like boot camp but I found it exhilirating to be in the middle of London taking a course with mostly English locals. My teachers (except for one) were wonderful and I looked forward to attending class every day.
I have a friend who took the CELTA course offered at the Volksschule in Zürich. She enjoyed the course but found it a struggle to teach during the day and take the courses in the evening. There are at least four essays one must write as well.
